Florida Vacation Rental - The Smart Alternative

So you have decided that you want to visit The Happiest Place on Earth - Disney World in Orlando Florida. Your next big decision is where you would like to stay. An increasing number of people are choosing to stay in an Orlando vacation rental villa. As recently as 5 years ago the choice was limited - but now there is something for everyone. From the 2 bed condo to the 7 bed luxury vacation home on a beautiful Florida vacation rental resort.

When you start your search for an home you will notice that there are a lot of choices. Some would say an overwhelming number of choices! So you need to be a little organized just as you would in your search for an hotel. So here is a list to start your Florida vacation rental search:

How large a vacation home do you want? Decide if you are looking for a condo, or a home. A condo may cost less but if it is a more luxurious stay you are looking for then consider an upgrade to a villa. Most vacation homes in Orlando will have a private pool - is this something that would make your stay that bit more special? Many of my guests tell me that the private swimming pool is the thing which their children enjoy most!

How close to the attractions would you like to be? Many Orlando vacation home rentals are close to Disney World. Ask yourself how important this is to your family. There are some resorts, including the Windsor Palms resort, which are within 5 to 10 minutes of the Disney Main Gate.

What is your price range? Treat this just as you would with an Orlando Florida hotel. It is best to set a realistic budget which is right for your family. You will be saving money so why not treat yourself to something very special?

There are many different communities offering different things. Some homes are located on a resort with facilities to rival that of a 4 or 5 star hotel. Do you want a home with community pool, spa, sundry store, games room, gym, movie theater - the possibilities are endless. Or would you prefer to pay a little less and have a villa on a community with no facilities? You must decide what would be best for your family group.

So when you have found your perfect choice of vacation home community, or at least narrowed it down to a choice of 2 or 3 maximum, begin emailing owners, that you have found in your search. Look at their website and check out the pictures. A picture speaks a thousand words. Unfortunately you also have to look at the words! By this I mean the responses from the owner. Was their response speedy and helpful? Ask as many questions as you need to. If you want to talk to them on the telephone then ask them to call you. This can often be a much easier way of getting the information that you need to know, and also building trust in your vacation home owner.

Whichever Florida vacation rental home you choose I am sure that you will be happy with your choice and never want to stay in the confined space of an hotel room again.

Vacation Rentals in Comfortable Cape Coral !

When it comes to vacationing, it's best not to do things halfway. If you're going through the trouble of taking time off work, lassoing your companions together, packing up your suitcases and dropping a few bucks, be sure to take a real trip, one that will allow you to replenish your energy supply, recharge your batteries, and relax into the state of mind that you feel most comfortable in.

There's a place on Florida's Gulf Coast that would provide the perfect backdrop for this full-throttle, serious-about-kicking back getaway. It's called Cape Coral, and it was literally created within the last few years to serve as a haven for cold-weather victims, tired souls, and overdrawn workaholics. This canal-infused, vacation rental-filled destination is blessed with both natural beauty and man-made conveniences, so enjoying yourself here is a matter of when, not if.

Renting a vacation property will make you feel like one of those privileged people who use the word "winter" as a verb. From beachfront villas decorated with the most modern furniture to condos that are practically luxurious, you'll feel lucky to be alive as you unpack your bags (into big closets and real, wooden chests of drawers, by the way) and settle into more than just a hotel room. This vacation is going to be all about your mindset, and when you're setting up shop in an actual house that delights you with charming details around every corner, believe that it'll be pretty darn easy to find that your mood is as light as a feather.

Cape Coral's fabulous beaches and easy to navigate layout will have you hopping on and off your boat with ease, touring the coastline, and enjoying plenty of lounging time stretched out on your favorite beach blanket. Many rental properties have swimming pools at their disposal, but this geographically ample town has plenty of wide open space where the ocean meets the land, too. Basically, whatever floats you boat will be available to you.

Cape Coral has eco-tours to guide visitors through the diverse wetlands brimming with wildlife, and there are also lots of shopping and amusement opportunities in this vacationer's play land. Water parks for the kiddies, vast stretches of seashell dotted sand, restaurants, beach bars and souvenir stands will all compete for the chance to whisk you and your loved ones away to the responsibility-free world that Florida is known to encourage. Don't feel that sticking close to "home" is a bad thing, though. Many Cape Coral visitors who have deemed it worthy to rent a villa or town home are satisfied with taking their time to read a book, cook a family meal, or just hang out and play games together.

Considering the fact that your property will likely contain the sorts of amenities that make life easier - washer and dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen - as well as a few fun ones thrown in for good measure - entertainment center, hot tub, game room, consider the house to be an important component of the trip that shouldn't be given short shrift. Especially if you've previously only stuck to blah-hotels or nicer ones that still didn't make you totally happy, take this chance to try something new and very likely to please you and everyone in your group.

Cape Coral Vacation Rentals are worth checking out if you're in the market for a complete escape from the realities of the everyday, so go online to peruse the extensive listings in this holiday-happy area and start chasing down the getaway that you know you deserve.

Florida Vacation Rentals - Rent a Home, Not a Hotel Room!

Sunshine, sand, sparkling water, and all the amusement parks a tourist could ever want! Florida is the ideal spot for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. Spend an afternoon on the beach, soak up the nightlife, or visit Mickey and Shamu.

With so much to do, your days will be packed. You will need a place to get a good night sleep and recharge your batteries for the next day of activities. Florida offers ample hotels and resorts, but this year, why not try something different? You can enjoy all the comforts of home in a Florida Vacation Rental... condos, townhouses, cottages, and more await you with open arms.

Instead of a mediocre continental breakfast, how about flipping some fresh pancakes and cooking up an omelet? Forget the cramped room, questionable bed spreads, and showers with no water pressure. With a vacation rental, you will find yourself relaxing in a spacious, high-end home away from home, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Vacations are a time for families to bond, but jam-packed days of sun, surf, and shopping can leave with you little together time. If you stay in a vacation rental, though, you can gather around a real dining room table for a real family dinner. Plus, you will be eating a lot healthier - even junk food junkies tire of fast food after a week. Cooking for yourself is also much more affordable.

By performing an advanced search with a site like vacationrentals.com or vacationrentalhotspots.com, you can find a vacation rental with as many bedrooms and bathrooms as you need. That means mom and dad can enjoy some privacy. Want to bring along Fido? The site allows you to limit your search to pet-friendly rentals.

Vacation rentals are available in almost every city in Florida. You will be able to find excellent accommodations even if you decide to take the road less traveled by vacationers. From Alachua to Zephyrhills, vacation rentals are sprinkled all over the Sunshine State.

Florida is also a popular destination for honeymooners. When you are on your honeymoon, where you stay is as important as where you go. Enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beach, then head back to your cozy cottage, complete with a hot tub. You will have total privacy, no need for a Do Not Disturb sign!

Florida is one of the United State's most beloved vacation spots because it is perhaps the one place that can please everyone. Nature lovers can watch the gentle manatee, while racing aficionados can score tickets to the Daytona 500. It might seem impossible to make your Florida vacation even better. When you rent a vacation home, though, you will discover the rest and relaxation you were seeking.

Naples, Florida: Laid-Back Luxury By Jennifer Weiss

Although Naples may be known for its 10 miles of pristine, white sandy beaches, a more accurate description might entail endless relaxation and a sophisticated atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic vacation. Away from the kids, basking in the warm Florida sun, everything moves at a much slower pace and you simply cannot help but escape the stress of daily life when you retreat to picturesque Naples.

While you might expect a stuffy atmosphere and an off-putting level of snobbery from this region of Florida, Naples is actually quite welcoming and charming compared to its east coast counterpart. There are certainly sprawling waterfront mansions and upscale boutiques and restaurants, but the locals offset any of that upper-crust feel with a laid-back atmosphere that feeds off the abundant sunshine and swaying palm trees. Rather than flaunting their riches and success, the people here prefer to showcase their lovely tans and create an environment that is inviting to all.

To head to Naples means you are in search of something a little less family-oriented, where adult activities reign and children's attractions are scant. Although there is the Teddy Bear Museum and the Naples Zoo, this is a place for adults, and particularly couples, who want to surround themselves with the finer things in life and not have to worry about endless entertainment. A day in Naples may simply be spent strolling along 3rd Street South, window shopping or picking up a few art pieces, and then resting at a nearby café for a little people-watching. While this is perfect for a couple who wants to enjoy each other's company, it is not so great for a child who wants to be constantly amused.

Well-known for its wide selection of fine dining options, no trip to Southwest Florida is complete without a stop by some of Naples' best restaurants. If you are looking for an excellent steakhouse, Chops City Grill features some of the finest meats along with an upbeat atmosphere. Seafood lovers can rejoice at either the Bay House Restaurant, which offers not only delicious cuisine but also stunning views of Osprey Bay and the Cocohatchee Wildlife Preserve, or the Bayside Seafood Grill, where the sautéed pistachio snapper and oak-grilled mahi mahi are top-notch.

The good life is never-ending in Naples where beyond the exquisite cuisine and stellar boutique shopping lies some of the most picturesque and challenging golf courses in Florida. The two best courses, Calusa Pine Golf Course and Naples National Golf Course, are both private, so it certainly helps if you have a local friend who is a member at either one of them. However, there are also several excellent semi-private and public options to fill your itinerary, including any of the Lely courses, Tiburon at the Ritz Carlton, and the LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort.

With luxury at your fingertips and utter relaxation around every corner, it simply makes sense to surround yourself with the best of this sophisticated city. Naples vacation rentals allow you to live like a local in an extravagant home that sits along the fine sands of the Gulf or rests along the lush fairway of a picturesque golf course. Forget about cookie cutter hotels that make you feel like a tourist, and enjoy all of the comforts of home in a setting that will take your breath away with every glance out the window. Privacy, convenience, and unparalleled access to the best of this wonderful city can all be yours when you stay in a Naples condo rental.

Florida holiday homes are considered an attractive summer vacation option. When people think of beach vacations, Florida is the first place that comes to mind. Due to weak southern real estate market and weak economy, beach destinations have become an attractive summer option. As prices of vacation rentals have come down, it attracts more vacationers throughout the year.

Florida has beautiful beaches on its east coast, west coast and Panhandle. Florida Keys are popular for its beaches, diving and fishing. Each area is popular for certain quality
• North eastern Florida beaches are known for its hard packed sand - great for walking
• West coast is known for calm tranquil waters and sandy beaches.
• South Florida Beaches known for tropical blue green waters.
• Panhandle beaches for its white sand, blue waters and relaxing atmosphere.
• Keys are popular for five different types of fishing.

Keys is an archipelago of hundreds of islands, but are divided into three vacation areas: Upper keys, Middle keys and lower keys. Each has its own charm. Keys can accommodate any type of budget. One can stay on the ocean side but the best sunsets are on the bay side. Another benefit of bay side is that there are numerous sail boats, hotels, homes and restaurants that make viewing interesting after the sun goes down. If you have limited money you can go in for holiday homes and enjoy the vacation. Florida Keys is economical, relaxing and interesting. There's wide range of activities, sights, sounds and people to see and things to do.

If a person is planning for vacation, he/she can find excellent accommodation information over the internet. A person can find best hotels in that area and book a room through hotel's site. However, even a vacation condo or private home can also be booked online. In some cases, real estate firms also can handle this transaction, as well.

Main advantage of a vacation home or condo is that a vacationer gets more space and can bring in more people to stay with him. The cost per person is generally much lower. For example, if you book a vacation villa in Florida, nearly 15 people can stay in a room. All the rooms and condominiums will have modern cooking facilities. Also, most of the homes have multiple bathroom facilities and other amenities like swimming pools and steam rooms.

One of the best things about vacation rentals is its cost. If you're planning to stay in a vacation rental it may cost half or less of the price of a pair of hotel rooms.
